Arun, the founder of Rise Bionics, is driven by a passion to make assistive devices affordable and accessible to everyone. A robotics graduate from Columbia University, Arun advanced his research at UC Berkeley, studying how people and animals move, developing new kinds of prosthetics and exoskeletons.

Arun left his PhD at Purdue University to focus on his mission: creating affordable, high-quality prosthetics for active people in countries like India, where access to such devices is still an umet need. As a Scale-Up Fellow at MIT's D-Lab, and a consultant for organisations like the International Committee of the Red Cross, his work has gained global recognition. Through collaborations and his role on the National Rehabilitation Council of India, Arun remains committed to making life-changing technology accessible to all, ensuring people everywhere can live with dignity and independence.
